Calculus is claimed to have originated by Bhaskaracharya in Karnataka and Madhavan School of Mathematics in Kerala. We need to verify the primacy of different claims. Newton and Leibnitz are credited by western historians even though both lived centuries later.
Please understand the following differences between the calculus, both integrative and differentiation versions. Newton used a parameter as it tended to Zero, infinity which is actually the concept that is different from the Indian approaches even though Indians did their way centuries before not using the zero or infinity limits.
The zero or infinity is actually a concept and does NOT belong to the natural numbers, even though infinity is only a concept and NOT a number.
We should not do any of the four operator functions of arithmetic with infinity, and fewer limitations for zero namely, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, all other operations like square, cube, and the respective roots.
I have written about these two: zero and infinity.
Similarly, I have written about geometrical terms which are concepts that can’t have any reality in terms of drawing on paper or any surface.
For example, a point has no dimensions at all. Therefore, we can’t draw on paper or on any surface. Similarly, we can not draw a straight line that has only one dimension and should have zero thickness and zero height, which is impossible to do, all straight lines drawn are actually crooked lines that have two dimensions, and also as the pencil or pen line will also have thickness creating the third dimension. A two-dimensional plane can’t be drawn for similar logical thought. You can’t draw a perfect circle, as all circles are imperfect. That is Pi is a number, but not truly a number but requires infinity concept to define it. There are many such divisions of two numbers that could not be divided perfectly.
What I have written here is only very little of what I have developed, which really delves into philosophy. Philology is a subject I can lecture for a six-month-long course at an advanced level.
Another area with intense depth in my work is Ontology, plus epistemology, which are all subjects of immense depth.
Let me know any researchers, university departments or centers of enquirer interested I could direct their Ph.D. programs, where I “donate” original ideas and novel paradigms to Ph.D. and postdoctoral plus even the senior professors.
Feel free to contact me for details, discussion, or even debates at Dr.Sri.KRS.Murthy@gmail.com
